Bobby Johnson

Bobby, a Louisiana native, has worked in the industry for over 25 years and most recently was a Senior Stylist and Lead Educator at Artizen Salon for 12 years. He began his education at the Metroplex Beauty School in central Texas and finished at Demmons School of Beauty in Lake Charles.

Bobby feels that continuing education is a vital element in the perfecting of skills and in remaining current and on the cutting edge of beauty trends. He has participated in numerous hands-on workshops which included Aveda Pure Form and Aveda Technical Texture. He also was instructed by the Vidal Sassoon team based in Orlando and attended a training class conducted by Candy Shaw, the “Balay Lama” of Atlanta.

Bobby was previously an educator for the Aveda Institute in Baton Rouge. He is also an incredible makeup artist and for four years, he prepared clients for photo shoots across the United States. He has many specialties, but clients have said that he is the best at blonde coloring, precise color application and face contouring. In 2022, he opened his own salon, Bobby J's Studio.
